weight loss tips

Published by nmls29 at 8:08 am under dieting Edit This

For the last week, I ate oatmeal for breakfast, drank tons of green tea, lots of salads, walked twice a day, lifted weights, flushed my body out as fast as I could, only to gain 1/2 a pound.  I ‘ve lost weight plenty of times before, and each time it takes a lot of dedication and time.  I am going to stick to it, of course.  I know how my body operates by now. I just don’t understand how some people jumpstart their diets.  It never works that way and especially in extremely low temps.  I know from experience that I won’t lose anything right now.  But if I stick with it, I will start to drop weight quickly as soon as the weathe changes.  But maybe I don’t want to wait that long.

I decided that I am going to devote this blog to weight loss.  I need to be accountable everyday and hopefully you will be able to learn something from me.  If you are having the same problems feel free to comment.  I would love to hear from you.

Today I would like to suggest Quaker high fiber oatmeal for anytime of the day.  It is yummy and it will get your digestion moving which is so important when you are dieting.  Also I drink coffee everyday and lace it heavily with milk and sugar.  I had switched to no calorie sugar and just this morning I was out of milk so I tried some powdered milk.  It is not as bad as it sounds and it actually has very little calories and 0 fat so yeh, to me for finding this new change.  I try to find a change everyday but I am not always so lucky.

Yesterday I was eating Amish macaroni salad that you buy in the deli.  And for the first time in my life I saw that it has 51 grams of fat for 1/2 cup! I choked.  Is this correct?  Please someone tell me.  Was this a typo.  If this is true I’ve just banned this from my menu for the rest of my life.

Also remember as you are taking these things out of your life you need to replace them with something else.  When I excercise I feel sexy and have a better libido.  So have more sex, and less calories.  How does that sound?
